People fall in love with art, considering it as a means for pleasure in human life. Launching for the Fall 2012 season, Live and Wear was dreamt up by two friends who always put fashion and art in the same sentence. The collection was designed to reveal artistic expression and unique modern style by bringing color and texture to any look transforming a simple outfit to a sophisticated stylish expression of self and individuality.
Raised in Russia, artist, designer and professor at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Art Nune Aghbalyan has been exposed to diverse cultures and traditions since childhood. Combining her natural instincts with her training in Fashion Design and Art Nune transfers her energy and fantasy into her creations. Nune’s art is inspired by an ancient Indonesian art technique, called Batik. Nune uses new Batik techniques to create each piece of art on the finest silks.
